And no, if i remember right the issue he had (i have the same thing) the walls on the intake are thin enough that with the heat in the engine bay, and the pressure from the clamp, the intakes squish in

bingo. He had a ring on the inside to clamp the cone onto for a bit of support. And if i had the money the itr would already be mine haha.
